Graphic Advocacy: International Posters for the Digital Age


"No More Land Mines" by Viktor Manuel Barrera

On view now at the Pratt Manhattan Gallery is an exhibition of 118 socially, environmentally, and politically-motivated print posters by an international cadre of artists and designers. The exhibition — Graphic Advocacy: International Posters for the Digital Age, 2001-2012 — demonstrates the potency of the art form as a catalyst for social and political change and covers topics including 9/11, Occupy Wall Street, Hurricane Katrina, the Japan Earthquake/Fukushima Nuclear Disaster, and Environment/Global Warming.
 
Graphic Advocacy is on vidw until August 28 at the Pratt Manhattan Gallery, 144 West 14th Street, Second Floor. Admission is free!
